I'm originally from Escondido California and came to Springfield Missouri in 1997 to play volleyball for Head Coach Melissa Stokes at Missouri State University. I completed my collegiate career in 2000 competing as a middle blocker in the front row and middle back on defense. I graduated from college in Dec 2004 with both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Accountancy and went on to work in the field of public accounting, specializing in taxation.
I began my coaching career in 2012 and have worked with teams in every age division from 12's to 18's over the years. I have a deep passion for coaching and absolutely love helping players work towards achieving their potential and watching them grow in both knowledge of the game and confidence in themselves and their abilities.
I believe competitive sports is one of the most important opportunities parents can provide for their children. It helps them grow both mentally and physically, teaches them how to thrive under pressure, and a variety of other significant life lessons that will help them become successful adults in the future.
I'm honored to have the opportunity to help these young ladies grow athletically, as well as make friends and memories that will last a lifetime!
