Perry Miller Carpenter

As far back as I can remember, I was playing volleyball with the girls at Ozark High School where my mom – Karen Miller – was a teacher and coach for 30 years. After a successful playing career for Ozark and Springfield Juniors, I went on to earn degrees in Journalism and Entertainment Management from Missouri State University. While in college I was given the opportunity to coach alongside my mom at Ozark Junior High and my coaching career took off from there.

I live in Springfield, MO with my elementary school teacher husband Damon, our three dogs, three chickens and lots and lots of bees.
